Support Consultant – ZetaSafe Product

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Support Consultant to be part of our dynamic and growing support team. We operate a hybrid working model and you will split your time between our offices in Silverstone, Northamptonshire and your home (of course, only if you want to work from home!)

You will work with our current web and mobile based software and will need to quickly develop expertise with both using and thoroughly understanding them. Your responsibilities will include providing direct support to clients via our Support Telephone Lines, supporting end users and staff in the setup and use of our products. As you develop, you should be able to assist with system upgrades and testing. Part of supporting clients will include handling queries related to mobile devices (iOS/Android) software and hardware connection issues.

Typical work would include:

  • Support Line – taking, logging and managing to satisfactory completion all calls, solving problems independently or involving others as needed when scheduled to do so.
  • Ensuring that all the required information from clients who call, and all actions taken are properly recorded in Zen Desk
  • Managing access licences for clients via our Sales Order Process.
  • Involvement in testing and validation of new products and working closely with Sales / Marketing and Technical teams as needed
  • Providing feedback to Development on issues as required and being fully engaged in enhancing our business.

About You

Ideally you will have worked in a similar customer support or direct customer facing role and you will be a skilled communicator.

Often, data is presented to us in EXCEL format to be used for use as a template for system populations. This may need to be manipulated and transformed ready to go into databases so you must be logical and methodical in your approach and have a basic understanding of the principles of databases.

You should be extremely comfortable working with mobile devices (iOS/Android).

Ideally educated to A-Level or equivalent. Further qualifications relating to information technology / computing / databases would be advantageous

Most importantly we are looking for someone who is a confident “self-starter” and who is thorough and logical in approach and very keen to work hard, learn and develop in our organisation.

Support Lead

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to lead our dynamic and growing Customer Support team. Based from our offices in Altrincham, Cheshire you will report to the Operations Director. This is a permanent, full time position.

You will work to develop our Customer Support team and its processes to bring excellent customer experiences, critical business insights to the development and commercial teams and to ensure that excellent communications are maintained between the teams.

While this role has the management aspect, we do also expect a hands on approach. You will need excellent interpersonal, communication skills and sound judgment as you will have direct contact with the full spectrum of our clients and staff.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Day to day team management and development
  • General support operations, communications, stand ups etc.

  • Preparation of Product Owner briefings and data mining from ZenDesk

Project & Implementation Manager

Micad is expanding its professional services division to ensure our clients get the best possible implementation and ongoing support services to make the most of their Micad software investment.

This has created a new opportunity for a project/implementation manager that can assist the business in planning and delivering a wealth of new services to support our growing client base. You will need excellent interpersonal, communication and organisation skills and sound judgment as you will have direct contact with the full spectrum of our clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Set up and overseeing new system implementations
  • Programme management with the client
  • Manage client meetings (electronic and on-site): attending and chairing all implementation and specific project progress meetings
  • Managing change control processes
  • Manage project budget and programme
  • Administering the terms of the software contract, including the preparation and issue of all required notices, certificates and instructions
  • Organise and put in place agreed training requirements
  • Create and maintain project implementation plans for each project and record meeting actions
  • Create, review and advise clients on any required scope of works
  • Liaise with relevant Micad staff or approved external consultants with system configuration and set up to facilitate the project requirements
  • Advise clients and provide examples and agree criteria for the asset register and other survey templates such as appraisal
  • Agreed scope of services and competitively obtain costing from the market for specific on-site services agree with the client
  • Manage any 3rd party contractor appointment process in accordance with the client’s guidelines and procurement rules
  • Work with relevant 3rd parties to specify surveys and other project delivery requirements
  • Agree any required survey programme with the client and 3rd party surveying company appointed to collect the data
  • Liaise with 3rd party surveying company undertaking the onsite based surveys and ensure they perform works to the agreed specification with the client and Micad software
  • Review and check the data integrity of the survey information being captured by the 3rd party surveying company
  • Oversee any necessary migration of data into the relevant Micad applications
  • Organise and oversee any bureau-based work such as applying appropriate PPM schedules linked Micad FM or CAD plan updates as required by the project
  • Liaise with the Micad commercial team on all professional service costing criteria
  • Liaise the Micad development and operational teams as required to facilitated resource planning to support the project success

About you

  • You will have worked in the estates and facilities client or consultant side and preferable have a good working knowledge of Micad applications.
  • You will be working with a range of clients both old and new on the implementation and project management of services that client has procured to support their software.
  • This will include a plethora of different tasks required to for fill a successful software system implementation of which many are detailed later in this document.
  • In addition to clients and their support partners you will work closely with Product Owners, Development team members and Operations to ensure each Micad application and broader services are successfully delivered on each project.
  • You should be familiar with the general compliance sector and key regulations. You will be a skilled communicator with practical experience in project management.
  • Whilst based from home, you will be expected to travel within the UK and possibility in the future internationally as will be required by each project.
  • Importantly we are looking for someone who is an experienced and confident “self-starter” and who is thorough and logical in approach to the set-up execution of every project and very keen to work hard, learn and develop core professional services within our organisation.
