Account Executive – USA

Micad USA LLC, part of the UK-based Micad Group, enables estate and property management professionals to make decisions, maximize ROI and support operations based on 100% accurate information. Our SaaS software products include IPR for space and property management, Micad FM for facilities maintenance, Audit for cleaning and other auditing requirements, Soft FM for soft services and ZetaSafe for real-time compliance management. We have offices in the UK, U.S.A and Australia and our annual revenue is c. $10m and growing. Our customers include many leading Healthcare, Education and Facilities Services Providers.

In the U.S.A our existing business focuses on selling ZetaSafe to customers, and we are seeking to aggressively expand both our ZetaSafe business and begin introducing our other products into the U.S. and broader North American market.

About the role

Overview

  • Home-based with travel required to customers and group HQ in the UK
  • Reporting to the Head of Sales (UK), as Account Executive, you will be an integral part of U.S. operation and our worldwide commercial team, ensuring clients are getting true value from our products and services, with complete client account ownership and accountability in the North American market.
  • Targeted with increasing our business in the U.S.A and wider NA market, you will be part of a team responsible for developing our operations in the North American market.
  • You will be compensated based on your revenue generation responsibilities, and you will also work alongside colleague in the U.S. to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • You will need to be self-motivated, driven, and able to interact with representatives from all types of organisations up to C Level executives with proven commercial negotiation and closing skills. You will ideally have experience demonstrating a consultative sales and account management approach and become fully conversant with Micad’s products and services for which full training will be given.

This role will require you to have responsibility in the following specific areas:

  • Reporting to the Head of Sales (UK), you will have work alongside other U.S. colleagues in planning and executing activities related to selling and marketing of Micad’s software products and services in the U.S. market
  • In collaboration with Micad sales and marketing personnel, proactively source and establish new sales for the company’s products and services, with an initial focus on ZetaSafe, including organizing and implementing e-shots/mailshots and other marketing campaigns to prospective customers
  • Provide remote and onsite demonstration/meetings of products and service as required by customers
  • Produce quotations in line with Micad USA’s commercial model, complete tender documentation, and negotiate and conclude sales contracts with prospective customers
  • Provide consultancy and expertise to assist clients with implementation and support
  • Negotiate with customers on renewals and conclude customer renewals
  • Organize and attend user events/workshops/exhibitions
  • Provide sales forecasts and other input into financial target setting and sales
  • Attend regular Micad sales and support meetings as required by the Head of Sales
  • Represent Micad at meetings and trade events, and participate in company events, presentations and exhibitions as directed by the Head of Sales
  • Maintenance of sales pipeline, proactively and responsibly using Micad CRM system Zoho
  • Provide customer feedback into relevant Micad Product Owners on any customer-related software development requests
  • Work as required with third-party suppliers and other partners in the North American market
  • Perform general administrative duties related to your role and maintenance of Micad’s activities in North America

About you

  • Relationship management and interpersonal skills to include experience in achieving credibility and building strong customer relationships at all levels
  • An understanding of Space Management and Maintenance Management and Facilities Compliance software topics/trends with experience in software sales and account management an advantage
  • First class communication skills and a confident and effective presenter
  • Positive and tenacious ability to influence
  • Commercial negotiation skills with proven track record in achieving target
  • Robust qualification, questioning & listening skills
  • Resourceful, creative, and adaptable approach to audience
  • Effective planning, organisation, and time management skills (including pipeline management & accurate forecasting)
  • Literate with Microsoft Office and CRM systems such as Zoho
  • Ability to build and manage positive, effective working relationships

Employment package

  • Base Pay – Commensurate with experience
  • Bonus – Based on achievement of quarterly and annual revenue targets
  • Commission – Payable on all applicable sales with no cap
