Support Lead

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to lead our dynamic and growing Customer Support team. Based from our offices in Altrincham, Cheshire you will report to the Operations Director. This is a permanent, full time position.

You will work to develop our Customer Support team and its processes to bring excellent customer experiences, critical business insights to the development and commercial teams and to ensure that excellent communications are maintained between the teams.

While this role has the management aspect, we do also expect a hands on approach. You will need excellent interpersonal, communication skills and sound judgment as you will have direct contact with the full spectrum of our clients and staff.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Day to day team management and development
  • General support operations, communications, stand ups etc.
  • Developing / managing / maintaining our ZenDesk support system
  • Preparation of Product Owner briefings and data mining from ZenDesk
  • Support Line – taking, logging and managing to satisfactory completion all calls, solving problems independently or involving others as needed when scheduled to do so.
  • Ensuring that all the required information from clients who call and all actions taken are properly recorded in Zen Desk
  • Managing access licences for clients via our Sales Order Process.
  • Involvement in testing and validation of new products and working closely with Sales / Marketing and Technical teams as needed
  • Providing feedback to Development on issues as required and being fully engaged in enhancing our business.

About you

  • Ideally you will have worked in a similar customer support leadership role for two or more years.
  • You should be very familiar with Zendesk or an equivalent enterprise platform as you will be required to develop it for business analytics. You will be a skilled communicator.
  • Microsoft Excel for the purposes of data manipulation / preparation / analysis / validation. You should be extremely comfortable working with mobile devices (iOS/Android).
  • You will work with our web based and mobile software and will need to quickly develop expertise with both using and thoroughly understanding them
  • Ideally educated to A-Level or equivalent. Further qualifications relating to information technology / computing / databases would be advantageous

Product Owner – Compliance

We are seeking an experienced individual to lead our Compliance product suite. Based from our offices in Altrincham, Cheshire you will report to the operations director. This is a permanent, full time position.

You will develop our current compliance product suite strategies and project manage their development (Micad Audit, ZetaSafe, IPR Compliance) to bring excellent customer experiences and to ensure that the business goals are met. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working with Sales Director to develop commercial strategy in the compliance sector
  • Translate client and business needs both strategic and tactical into actionable product roadmaps
  • Ensure that the DevOps team are provided with appropriate scope and roadmaps and to coordinate those projects.
  • Developing support materials for internal / external clients
  • Developing training materials for the Micademy platform

About you

You will have worked in a compliance sector (e.g. Fire, Water, Facilities) for two or more years and have a very sound understanding of how software is used in this sector. You should be familiar with the general compliance sector and key regulations. You will be a skilled communicator with practical experience in project management.

Further qualifications relating to information technology / software would be advantageous

Project & Implementation Manager

Micad is expanding its professional services division to ensure our clients get the best possible implementation and ongoing support services to make the most of their Micad software investment.

This has created a new opportunity for a project/implementation manager that can assist the business in planning and delivering a wealth of new services to support our growing client base. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Set up and overseeing new system implementations
  • Programme management with the client
  • Manage client meetings (electronic and on-site): attending and chairing all implementation and specific project progress meetings
  • Managing change control processes
  • Manage project budget and programme
  • Administering the terms of the software contract, including the preparation and issue of all required notices, certificates and instructions
  • Organise and put in place agreed training requirements
  • Create and maintain project implementation plans for each project and record meeting actions
  • Create, review and advise clients on any required scope of works
  • Liaise with relevant Micad staff or approved external consultants with system configuration and set up to facilitate the project requirements
  • Advise clients and provide examples and agree criteria for the asset register and other survey templates such as appraisal
  • Agreed scope of services and competitively obtain costing from the market for specific on-site services agree with the client
  • Manage any 3rd party contractor appointment process in accordance with the client’s guidelines and procurement rules
  • Work with relevant 3rd parties to specify surveys and other project delivery requirements
  • Agree any required survey programme with the client and 3rd party surveying company appointed to collect the data
  • Liaise with 3rd party surveying company undertaking the onsite based surveys and ensure they perform works to the agreed specification with the client and Micad software
  • Review and check the data integrity of the survey information being captured by the 3rd party surveying company
  • Oversee any necessary migration of data into the relevant Micad applications
  • Organise and oversee any bureau-based work such as applying appropriate PPM schedules linked Micad FM or CAD plan updates as required by the project
  • Liaise with the Micad commercial team on all professional service costing criteria
  • Liaise the Micad development and operational teams as required to facilitated resource planning to support the project success

About you

  • You will have worked in the estates and facilities client or consultant side and preferable have a good working knowledge of Micad applications.
  • You will be working with a range of clients both old and new on the implementation and project management of services that client has procured to support their software.
  • This will include a plethora of different tasks required to for fill a successful software system implementation of which many are detailed later in this document.
  • In addition to clients and their support partners you will work closely with Product Owners, Development team members and Operations to ensure each Micad application and broader services are successfully delivered on each project.
  • You should be familiar with the general compliance sector and key regulations. You will be a skilled communicator with practical experience in project management.
  • Whilst based from home, you will be expected to travel within the UK and possibility in the future internationally as will be required by each project.

Sales Account Manager

Reporting to the Associate Commercial Director, as a Sales Account Manager, you will be an integral part of our commercial team, ensuring clients are getting true value from our products and services, with complete client account ownership and accountability.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and growing relationships with prospective organisations and customers with the objective of new customer acquisition and upselling to existing Micad customers.
  • You will need to be self-motivated, driven, and able to interact with representatives from all types of organisations up to C Level executives with proven commercial negotiation and closing skills.
  • You will have substantial experience demonstrating a consultative sales and account management approach and become fully conversant with the Micad products and services for which full training will be given.
  • UK Travel may be required and so a full clean driving license will be required for this role.
  • You will work independently as well as with the commercial team colleagues to cross sell.
  • You will have ideally at least 2 to 3 years’ experience as an account manager in a SAAS business
  • Whilst significant activity will be home-based, an ability and willingness to travel nationwide is required, as is an enthusiastic and passionate approach to being part of a real team.
  • Manage new customer acquisition and existing customer upsell sales cycle from first appointment through qualification & meetings through to commercial and contract negotiation.
  • Deliver sales meetings, presentations and product demonstrations to prospects and customers in accordance with the Micad sales methodology
  • Represent Micad at exhibitions, forums and other sales and industry events.
  • Assist in formal bid processes including generation of ITT, PQQ and RFI responses.
  • Work closely with support, marketing & commercial teams to take a proactive approach in the development of sales opportunities and client satisfaction.

  • Timely updating of Zoho CRM system regarding all customer interactions and commentary, to maximise accurate forecasting ability

  • Comprehensive knowledge of whole product range and of our solutions messaging
  • Ability to provide online demos of core Micad products
  • Manage Internal opportunity process
  • Provide proposals and product information in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with established client expectations

  • Work against retention and new revenue sales targets.
