The Micad Help Desk (HD) is a new modular application to the core Internet Property Register (IPR) System.  Its ground breaking functionality concentrates on the basic needs of a Help Desk which enables Micad to offer excellent value for money.

The  automatic bonding with the parent IPR software enables  levels of interoperability which are not engineered or available in the FM market place.  The HD takes advantage of many of the key features within the other IPR modules;  for example, work planners can now see a complete CAD drawing of the internal work area with the exact job location highlighted.  This feature is available at the time of allocating a job together with any room data that has been entered into the parent IPR, as well as Asbestos information of all the surrounding work areas to the job in hand. 

 

The HD provides excellent levels of communication by utilising mobile PDAs and emails to direct and contracted labour resources.  Although many Client organisations have a manned telephone support centre to receive job requests, the HD offers a ‘client web portal’ with which job requests can be created and routed directly to the work planners.  Contractors also have a ‘web portal’ where details of pending, current, planned and historical instructions are published.
